HallOweeN

Sorry this took so long for me to post. I have a few photos of the food from the Halloween party. It was soooo good. There were 4 of us who made yummy food. I made the peanut butter eyeballs and the mummy cheese spread. The buckets with syringes had Jello shots in them. We have those every year. It's really the best way to have Jello shots because they're so easy to get out. :)

Skulls and such

I know it's still about 2 months until Halloween, but I love it! I always start looking for costumes and decorations (even though I usually don't get them) pretty early. Joanna, who always throws the Halloween party, has already started making the food/recipe list. I found a few more that I want to share with her.

First, I found a cake pan and a cupcake pan. I would love to buy one, or both, and make a skull cake for the party.
Then I went to www.tasteofhome.com and found some awesome recipes. Please let me know if there are any other recipes you know that would make this Halloween party even tastier.

Dracula Cookies

Chip N' Dip Bread Witch

Goblin Eyeballs

Scary Eyeballs

Haunted House Cake

Black Cat Cupcake

Spiderweb Cookie

Ghoulish Fingers

Frightening Fingers

Tombstone Treats

Patterns

I want to learn how to sew better. My mom almost gave these patterns away a few years ago, but I kept them instead. I'm glad I did because they're back in style (I think). Anyway, I want to make a couple and maybe some of my friends can get them as gifts (if they want one). Just let me know! We can pick out fabric together or I can surprise you.

Good Finds

Today on my lunch break I went to McKay's, a used book/cd/dvd store. I sell them my unwanted cd's, dvd's and books so I have some store credit there. My first stop was the children's book section. I found some really cool old children's books for really cheap. I'm thinking about making some little books out of them or maybe something that is easier to display like coasters. Not sure yet. They have some awesome illustrations in them though. I'm so excited!

Yay I have a blog!

Recently I have been reading peoples blogs. Most about crafting, stationary, art, etc. I love feeling like I have made a new friend and getting a glimpse into others lives and interests. I hope that my blog gives you the same feeling someday. I'm really new to this and it will take me a little while to figure out what I'm doing, but just bear with me and I will post photos and make this more fun. Stop by soon for my next post!

Love you all!
